The third Apple Event this year is over, and there are some new Products to mention.
Starting with the iPad Pro.
In the last couple of days, there were so many leaks, that barely everyone knew how the new iPad Pro would look like before the event in Big Apple kicked off. However the new iPad Pro is a complete redesign and I like it a lot.
The bezels are slimmer, as well as the edges itself, moreover, it is smaller than the previous generation iPad Pro. It now has an edge to edge display with FaceID but no Notch.
They call the new Display Liquid Retina Display – like the iPhone Xr.
Because of the edge to edge screen, the new sizes are 11, instead of 10,5 inch an 12, 9 inch which uses 25% less volume than the old generation one.
The max Storage is 1TB – yes 1000GB storage in an iPad – personally unbelievable to be honest.
That’s what I really appreciate about the new design, that they minimized the bezels but still left enough space for an 8MP Front Facing Camera.
The new integrated A12X Bionic Chip is much faster, in percent 35% in single and tremendous 90% in multi-core thanks to six cores and the new integrated Neural Engine
The Lightning-Port is old – the new Generation iPad Pro has USB-Type C with support for external displays and even the support of charging your iPhone (like a Power Bank).
The main Camera has the integration of Smart HDR and 12 MP in total.
The new Apple Pencil 2.0 now connects and charges magnetically at the iPad Pro. Moreover, the surface is touch-sensitive now to switch between utilities whilst writing or painting.
The second big thing to mention is the new MacBook Air – or should I say the bigger brother of the MacBook…
…Apple made the Display bezel smaller and finally the Retina Display coming to the Air models. Its screen size is 13,3 inches, so more 11-inch version by now.
Of course, the integrated the new Butterfly Keyboard (3 Gen.) into the MacBook Air as well as the new 8th Generation Intel Core i5 Processors. The DDR3 Ram is now upgradeable to 16 GB and storagewise up to 1,5 TB which is pretty much for a Laptop basically made for students.
You can now unlock your Air with the use of your fingerprint thanks to the T2 Chip. This chip also feature the mobile encryption of your storage.
Coming to connectivity, the MacBook Air is packed with two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-Type C Ports) and a Headphone Jack, that’s all. Now SD-Card Slot or normal USB anymore.
Last but not least he is the new Mac Mini. If you wonder, yes the device isn’t dead at all, finally this small entry mac desktop machine got an Upgrade. It features a space grey exterior and internal wise you can spec it up to 6 cores and 4 TB flash storage along with 64 GB DDR4 RAM.
The T2 chip is built in for encryption as well as 4 USB-C and 2 USB-A along with an HDMI and Ethernet port.
Tommorow Im going to give you a short comment of what I personally think…
