Apple September Event – Short Summary

The Apple September Event finished a few minutes ago and I try to summarize the most important things mentioned in the last 1,5 hours.

Starting with the new Apple Watch Series 4
It now has:
– 30 % more Screen Size means 40 and 44mm Models with the same still Watch Bands matching the footprint
– New watch faces customizable with up to 8 complications
– a Haptic Feedback crone
– 50 % louder speakers
– S4 64 Dual Core Chip with 2x faster performance
– Can now detect a fall and call the emergency right out of your wrist
– features in combination with the new Crone an ECG
– has a battery life of the same 18 hours
– watchOS 5 will be released at 17.09.2018
– shipping starts Fri. 17.09

Second to mention are the three new iPhones named iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone Xr
Talking first about iPhone Xs / Xs Max
– having a 5.8 (Xs) or 6.5 (Xs Max) OLED Screen with Super Retina Display
– A12 Bionic Chip with 6 Core CPU and 4 Core GPU
– 120 Hz Touch Layer
– 12 MP Dual Lens with 1,8 and 2,4 which features Smart HDR
– Battery lasts 30 min longer than iPhone X (Xs) and 1,5 hours longer when comparing the Xs Max
– features Gigabit LTE as well as Dual SIM which is made of a physical and an E-SIM

The third in the row is the new iPhone Xr with:

– feature the colors black, white, coral, blue and yellow
– 6,1-inch Edge-to-Edge LCD Display (Liquid Retina Display)
– A12 Bionic Chip
– Single 12 MP Camera
– Face ID
– 1,5 hours more battery life than the iPhone 8 Plus
– 120 Hz Touch Layer
The iPhone Xs starts at 999$ the iPhone Xs Max at 1099$ and the iPhone Xr at 749$
